I came across this street food when I was visiting Nagpur , and fell in love with it instantly. The combination of spicy potato filling and the sweet tamarind chutney is just perfect . And The crunch from roasted peanuts and raw onions ( optional ) adds to the amazing taste. To top it up , hot Bun Pav , Maska maar ke J.
I had never tried making Dabeli at home . As with most street foods , I prefered to have them where they are made the best – the street!
But with kids by my side , I definitely have a lot of concerns about the street food ( quality and heigine ?? ).
Recently , I came across a dabeli masala packet and decided to give it a try. The best part about Dabeli is , you can keep everything ready beforehand. And when you are ready to serve just toast the Bun Pav’s with a little butter and serve hot !
They turned out to be finger licking good! … if I may say so myself.
