Paneer is generally at the top of the list of favourite foods for any vegetarian ( or non-vegetarians) in India. At my house too, Paneer is the hot favorite.
So prepared this fresh batch of Paneer in the morning, and decided to make these Malai Paneer Starters for lunch. And the result was just outstanding . The homemade fresh paneer covered with the creamy sauce , made for the best melt-in-the-mouth starters ever.
The best part? It is subtly spiced , so even kids can dig in, and enjoy !
I have used fresh homemade cream here too. Just collect the cream that you get on the milk after you boil it and refrigerate. I like how this fresh cream tastes with paneer …. just delicious. You can also use the packaged ones available in the market.
The recipe is very simple and can be made with just a little oil. No deep frying required. So you can indulge in these beautiful starters , with out going on a guilt trip later!
