
I am constantly experimenting with fruits and flavours. I Also tried some mocktails for birthday parties and other get-together, and everybody loved them! And You know what? Peer pressure always works! When your kids friends say , that they loved the fruit punch, you can hear your kids boasting about your cooking skills!
The most common drink that you’ll find in any Maharashtrian household , is Mango Panha. Made with raw mangoes. It’s instantly refreshing and is easy to prepare. I’ll be sharing with you, the recipe today.
The recipe is a very basic version , and brings out the original raw mango flavor.
If you like you can give it a twist by adding a little rock salt or kala namak instead of plain salt. Or add a little jal jeera powder, or add little mint leaves to the mixture, or add green cardamom powder. You can experiment with this recipe according to your taste !
RAW MANGO PANHA RECIPE
- Slightly peel the raw mangoes and pressure cook them with little water.
- Let them cool for sometime. Remove the pulp from the seed . Add sugar and cardamom powder and grind together in a mixer.
- You can refrigerate this pulp as use when needed.
- Take 2 tbsp of this pulp in a glass. Add xbe cup water and salt to taste. Mix properly . Add some ice cubes and serve chilled.

Tips
For kids , you can strain the panha through a seive to get a clear drink !
