Poha Bullets – tea time snack

Poha Bullets is a savory tea-time snack , made with flattened rice flakes and Indian spices. This crispy snack should be served piping hot with any dip or ketchup of your choice! It’s a great snack that can go well as a starter or appetizer too.

Poha is a truly versatile ingredient to work with. But growing up, I only knew two dishes that could be made with it , and that’s Masala Poha (a general breakfast for us Marathi folks) and Chiwda.

Recently at a get-together at one of my friend’s place, I tasted a cutlet that didn’t have potato as a base. And guess what , it was made out of poha and it was yum. So decided to try something on the same lines with poha , and made these Poha bullets!

They are a great tea time snack to munch on , especially during this monsoon season. You can load it up with any veggies of your choice. So just try it for your next tea-party or get-together , and just ask everyone to guess the ingredients .
