Roasted Peanut Laddo
A 2-ingredient , 2-step recipe for an awesome sweet snack. We are already in the third week of the month of Shravan . The auspicious month where everyone seems to be busy fasting.

Ingredients
  • 1cup peanuts groundnuts/
  • 1/2cup jaggery, grated
Instructions
  1. Heat a kadhai and dry roast the peanuts till they become fragrant or the color of the brown covering becomes a little dark.Remove in a plate and let it cool a little.
  2. Put the peanuts into the jar of a mixer grinder. Add grated jaggery and grind into a coarse mixture. Now divide the mixture into eight portions and shape them into small balls.
  3. Store these laddos in a airtight container at room temperature.

Tips

  • Taste test the mixture of jaggery and peanut before making round laddo. Add more jaggery if you want.
  • You can also add dry fruits of your choice to the mixture and then shape the mixture into laddo.
  • Just pulse the mixture of peanuts and jaggery in the mixer grinder to get a coarse paste.
  • If you want the laddo to be light in color , you can remove the covering of peanuts, after roasting. Just rub them between your palms and it will be done.
