Weekend’s here again !  And I am on a hunt to make some interesting snacks . Yes kids will be home for complete two days , and they surely know how to keep their mum busy in the kitchen .

Even I love to indulge in some snacks….. with some adrak wali chai , of course!

So today thought of recreating the evergreen paneer sandwich into these awesome rolls. And they came out really well , and the plating made it look like it came out of a gourmet restaurant. Just the kind of change that’ll make the paneer sandwich , much more exciting for everyone!

For the filling:
  1. In a mixing bowl take paneer and mash it with fingertips.
  2. Add chopped onions , green chilli , coriander leaves and mix lightly .
  3. Add red chilli powder, chaat masala, salt and tomato ketchup and mix again. Keep aside.
  4. The bread :
  5. Take a slice of bread. Cut and remove the sides. With a rolling-pin , flatten the bread over a flat surface.
  6. Fill in a tablespoon ( approx.) of the paneer filling, and roll the bread , trying to keep the filling packed inside it.
  7. Repeat the process for all bread slices.
  8. Brush a little butter on the paneer rolls , and lightly toast them till they become golden brown .
  9. Serve hot immediately , with ketchup or mayo or any dip of your choice.
  10. Enjoy !
Recipe Notes

TIPS

  • Try to use fresh bread , so that it doesn’t break while making rolls.
  • To seal the bread roll , you can brush a little milk on the edges.
