Tangy Sweet Corn Chaat

Tangy corn chaat is an Indian salad or snack , perfect for a lazy evening. The spicy ,tangy ,sweet and salty flavors come together so amazingly well in this dish , that every foodie will be left , wanting for more .

Sweet corns are so in season. From the roadside Bhutta to the plush corn starters , you will find it everywhere.

Even I end up putting it in every and any dish I fancy , be it pizza , pasta , sandwich or salads . And the best part , the kids ( yes , both of them ) love it too .

This was a long weekend and we , had no plans at all. And as my hubby puts it, having no plans , is a plan too , right? It has been a really hectic month for him , and he wanted to just relax at home.

Relaxing at home…. Isn’t it the biggest oxymoron ever? At least for us women it is. So with two kids , and a hubby at home , the kitchen has to be up and running , all the time . And the hunger pangs with the requests for something nice to eat , are never ending.

So it all started with a heavy breakfast of Aloo ragda and poori , lunch was the Maharashtrian Masale Bhaat with green chutney and curd. And the evening snack was this awesome tangy sweet corn chaat. This was the highlight of the day for me . The lovely spicy and tangy flavors coming together with the subtle sweetness of corn kernels , was just perfect to spice up the evening tea – time!

The recipe is really simple , with just a few veggies and spices added to it. Sharing the recipe for the same , I am sure you’ll love it!
